I noticed that the alarm fob has rubbed a little bit against the paintwork by the ignition on the MV.

I've bought some helicopter tape to put some little strips on the tank to prevent any more damage.

When I put the tape on I noticed some very minor marks. I soon worked out that the cloth MV Agusta key fob was causing it. I've sorted that out.

So I need the alarm fob with the ignition key, otherwise I'll forget one of them and that's not good.

Any recommendations what I can do? Velcro patches to keep the alarm fob still?

Any suggestions welcome.

Keep the alarm fob on a different keyring in your pocket or on a lanyard refund yer neck.

On my ktm I had the fob on a lanyard under my leathers.

Looks like it's the lanyard route.

My main concern is leaving the key in the bike if there's nothing else with the ignition key. At the moment I have to take the key out to arm the alarm.

I have some square precut sections of XPEL PPF from my Invisiframe kit. Send me your address and I'll post some to you.

It's for gloss paint though so if it's over matt it will shine slightly.

You could always put a coloured leather tag on the key. Won't mark the tank and should remind you to take the key. I've never forgotten, although you will see me check my pockets many times and panic when I can't find the key..

Failing that, you could always convert it to keyless
