I read somewhere he is only doing what appeases the Tory MPs who voted against him when the last restrictions were introduced as some threatened to resign the whip. If they did that we could be in an election situation which Tories might lose and the clown would lose his seat in Parliament by being voted out by his own constituency.

No more free testing to be announced soon.

Be interesting to see how the new wave in Japan affects things. Will the still remove the testing requirement for inbound travellers?
