Something strange is being concocted through all of this... or the party is weak

Any business that needs serious foot fall to make its money will struggle to survive. The two Kwacky metions might actually thrive if they do it right.

I fail to see how the High street as is will still be there if this goes on for long. Hopefully we will see more small independent local businesses as a result.

Thos queueing outside stores now to enter probably wont mind much when the sun is shining and its warm but i cant see many wanting to do that most of the year in the UK.

The oldest hairdressing salon in the place I used to live is closing. The shop is long and narrow, so they can't apply the 2m rule.

Did you know the 2m rule only applies in the UK ( and one other Country which i can't remember now) everywhere else in the world its 1m and not 2.

Did you also see the presentation which also said that the 2 meter the was basically plucked out of thin air and has no scientific backing..

Well the French have today announced most of the restrictions will be lifted over the next 2 / 3 weeks, including lifting the 100km travel limit and opening international borders. Cafe's, Restaurants and Cinemas will gradually open and they will accelerate kids going back to school (they were to start 1st June anyway).

Should be much better next week onwards, which is great news. All delivered in a clear way, with a clear plan with controlled steps and testing for all.

I wish you all lived over here - you deserve better than the UK recently.

Kids when they go back to school will feel like they are in prison. Its frightening the things put in place.

Yes, but children adapt quickly...one of those rare instances where less experience works in favour of change.
