I get that. Has the loss of EU farm subsidies increased the price of foods produced in the UK?

I don’t know the answer but I can imagine if it is then that news is being kept very quiet.

No reason to celebrate imo..! (shake)

I may consider doing so, when he's held accountable for his wrongdoings by the law of the land.
He never will though.
He should be made penniless & spend the rest of his days doing the sorts of sh1t jobs that society needs doing but are worthless jobs.
Instead the legacy of his "spin behind the wheel" will be raking in obscene fees for guesting at dinner functions. Look at Blair, sent our troops on a pointless & devastating holy crusade, wrecking millions of lives and wreaking havoc that is still felt globally.
Not even a parking ticket, and now gets paid around £1m a month to preach.

This world is so f*cked up...

100%. At the very very very least his honours list should go in the bin and he should be barred from holding public office in the future.

It looks like most Tories are not going to attend the vote on the Johnson sanctions. Sunak is expected to have an overseas appointment appear in his diary.

They're hoping that if the vote does go against Johnson that they can blame labour for it.

We are on the brink of democracy and the rule of law succeeding or not.

If we keep allowing these charlatans into politics it will only end in disaster.

It seems to me that our current system of democracy is broken. - Voter apathy, poor expectations of honesty or integrity from those in power etc etc etc,,,,,,
Presumably the only thing that is keeping it going, is that there is no actual alternative to adopt.?
Fwiw I personally expect that the first person who comes up with a political version of a "Bill Gates or Jeff Bezos or Mark Zukerburg" type idea will become very significant in the future development of society?

Although, having said that, I also suspect that the "person" I am referring to, is possibly likely to be a sentient algorithm. viewtopic.php?t=8161

More rules broken. How has even never ended up in prison? His life is a catalogue of law breaking.

But pointless rules with no consequence.
The committee has no powers to enforce its recommendations or to punish MPs - or former MPs - who have broken the rules, but it can issue public rebukes.
More self-serving pointless money wasting twats.

Mortgage crunch likely to be the biggest since the 1980s now according to experts.

The former chairman of the BofE says Brexit is almost certainly the root cause of our inflation problems. I cannot see how keep increasing interest rates will fix the problem if prices have no competition because of a very small restricted market. I’m sure more and more imported into the UK no Longer see the UK as an Important market. Viz a viz Teslas decision to not build any right hand drive versions of their top spec cars.
