I'll watch that. Thanks for the heads up.

I get the feeling there's a few nervous people who are trying to cover their tracks.

If the Tories do lose the next election, any investigations by a new Government into Russian involvemnt in Tory party fuunding and thus Government policy, could be explosive.

You would think so, would't you..

(wait) However the Con's party have held power for quite some time, and I didn't notice anyone from the previous gang being held to account for the Crusades.?

Nice to see Sunak telling everyone what a wonderful position Northern Ireland is in, being able to trade directly with the EU.

Is he really stupid or does he think we're all that stupid?

I bet NI is about to get an even bigger boom as a result. At the expense of the rest of the UK.

There is only one place in the UK a big company would now choose to place itself if they had much trade with the EU........ NI.

You couldn't make this sh!t up!

On the plus side at least this "should" be the final nail in Boris's return.

Did you see Sunak say yesterday how lucky NI was to be able to trade within the EU?

The Tory party are now encouraging business to set up in NI.

it's a shame Starmer decided to go pro Brexit, the labour party should be having an open season on the government

One of my friend’s runs a scratching company. There is a big shortage of new pigs currently because the feed comes from Ukraine and as with tomatoes, any meat from the EU stays there as they can sell all they have there.

He was reading parts of the report done last week in London by one of the big food marketing boards. By quarter three and four this year they are expecting some food shortages to be even worse and the prices to go even higher. Pork has gone up by 58% in the last few months.

Just shows that Brexit will make the UK an economic backwater if the Government does not wake up to the damage Brexit is doing.

Major investment in France is now a third higher than it is in the UK.

I've been threatening my kids with a "Darling Buds of May" style fruit-picking holiday for years. Tempted to take them on one this summer, could really use the cash at the moment.

No, not just BREXIT, we've had an ageing population and a skills shortage for many years. Sadly the government (including the previous Labour government to some degree) has managed to convince a majority of voters that Mohamed the brain surgeon is after their job!

I read something similar about Japan a few weeks ago....they have a really old population thanks to
a really good healthcare system (or something like that), and the birth rate is extremely low...I'm sure those two factors are strongly linked. Either way, the population there is in decline, and that decline is accelerating.
