We are all well aware that looking to the past is our most proven indicator to the future..
The British Empire seems destined to follow the path of the Egyptian Empire, the Greek , the Roman etc,,, ?
Except that when reality eventually does bite, we don't have the lovely sun soaked aspect, to attract Tourism to bask in the ruins of our history.

With or without sunshine, tourism is already a rather large industry for Britain, isn't it?..... Certainly appears that way.

Meanwhile, government figures say it's all down to COVID and the war in Ukraine... Nothing to do with brexit... Quick look over there, new made up crisis happening.

The Tory voter in Question Time last week told Ress Mogg that Brexit had hit his business big time.

Rees Mogg flippant reply was to do business with Countries that wanted to do business with Britain then.

Bearing in mind this guy’s business was importing European wines that would be pretty hard to do but aside from that it’s Britain that has made it hard to do trade, not Europe.

When is a prominent MP going to admit Brexit is damaging the UK big time?

They seem more interested in not upsetting the gammons.
