Notice also how quickly his airbag goes off. Its fully inflated long before he hits the ground.

Stunning bit of footage there.
Interesting to see what is actually happening, in an occurrence that in real life happens so fast that has you (me anyway) airborne before you have time to register your bike is no longer sliding out from under you..
