:? Councils gritters dept' using as much as they can, so that they can justify the same size of budget for the coming financial year.???

There have been a few accidents on the M6 today. Sometimes they use the gritters to spread sand to mop up fluids if they've been spread out.

I can't see a forecast for frost this week.
