You won’t need a second bike. Just pop next door and keep taking demos out!

Congrats on the house purchase. About time you got a garage.

Have you moved far? Or still in the brum area?

Chuff me this is dragging on. The people we're buying from have only just instructed their solicitors to send out the draft contract. I'll be lucky to move before the summer ends at this rate.

Sounds about normal sadly. You have got to push solicitors and conveyancers constantly else they do cock all sadly.

House moving and conveyancing still operates on systems developed in the dark ages.

Its in drastic need of updating as solicitors tend to drag their heels as long as possible to make it look like they actually did some work.

Hoping Kwacky shouldn't have those problems as they are sitting in his office but yes in general they are diabolical, we have had numerous cases miss completion dates because of solicitors which have led to complaints and us demanding money back for clients to pay the extra Interest accrued on remortgages

Took six months last time we moved and the chain was only us and the people we were buying from. All we ever heard from the solicitor was excuses and then they deny all responsibility for anything they have actually done.

On a property i bought a few years ago i ended up calling the conveyancer and the other peoples conveyancer everyday until they got stuff done. You have to be annoying to get to the top of the list..
