Carol Nash offered me a great deal yesterday. My car insurance is due soon too and I,d been offered £720 from my existing insurer. Carol Nash offered me £960 on their 6 wheel insurance system which on top of legal cover, personal injury cover it also includes breakdown cover on both my car and bike. Bloody good deal I thought for comprehensive insurance on 6 wheels. 8)

That doesn't seem too bad to me. My car insurance is up in May but I'm thinking of doing a multicar policy with my gf. The bike insurance is half the price of my car insurance so not too fussed about getting a good price

In the insurance eyes at least.

Your young and reckless and he is old and careful (giggle)

The only advantage to being old is you pay less for insurance (facepalm)

Expensive? My car is a 2 ltr 4 wd. This is the best quote I,ve ever had to insure it around £600. Bike is a 948 cc, I,ve never paid that low for a bike insurance either fully comp about £350. (wasntme)

Does that seem expensive to you too Kwacky? I have over 9 yrs of ncd too on both. £350 for my bike and £600 for my car fully comp including breakdown cover is excellent I think.

Fewer outgoings??? Have you not heard of kids and how much they cost? My outgoings are the highest they have ever been in my life and I’m 46

I took kids out of the equation as I could have kids now and when my kids reach 25+ they would hopefully not be a financial 'burden' therefore I would be better off but in the case of someone who has kids older they'll be worse off. That's why I ignored kids; because it works both ways

Look at the crimes stats. The unfortunate truth is the nice areas of most city's have bad crime stats as they have stuff worth nicking and get targeted by thieving scum (swear)

Living in a nice area won't free you from burglary and vehicle crime quite the opposite.

Our of interest which area of South Manchester? That area covers pretty much half of the second largest city in the land .
