Another cracking episode. That battle scene was intense.

you can see why they elected not to spend the CGI budget on the Direwolves after that episode.

there is some good stuff on youtube about the history and lore of GoT universe its animated but voiced by the actors/actresses in the show .

Yeah it was!!!

Not a show I normally ever watch....and I'm guessing the UK/US shows must be running concurrently?? But I came across it last night and it was pretty spectacular!!

It's gotten to the point now that even TV shows have all these stunning effects that you only ever saw in movies in the past.

They're starting to make going to the movies seem a bit redundant.

I wonder if being dead then brought back to life gives you an edge over the white walkers?

And did you catch the bit about the annulment?

Well, there's two of them going North of The Wall next week so I guess we'll see!
(The trailer for the next episode looks good.)

And yes, it was very much noticed in House Itchy.

This is a great season so far.

there are also 2 people with Targaryan blood going north .
Jon and Gendry ( Baratheons are an offshoot of the Targaryans )
there are 2 riderless dragons

I think Arya will kill Littlefinger and Cersei and possibly Sansa
I think Jaime Lannister will end up commander of the Nights Watch possibly killing the Night's King thereby living up to his moniker "KingSlayer"

I'm convinced Tyrion Lannister is the 3rd Targaryan. His father always told him he wasn't a Lannister. He's also met a dragon and not been eaten.

th annulment bit was interesting, she mentioned Rhaegar, surely that's Rhaegar and Lyanna Stark meaning that Jon would be true heir to the throne not Dany (plus I think shes getting a bit big for her boots and needs taking down a peg ;))

how would that make Jon heir ?
Rhaegar was 1st in line but was killed at the Trident before his father was killed by Jaime , therefore the crown would go to the king's next eldest child not to the kings nephew

By the son's line? Males before females?

I get that John would be heir if the king had no other children but he did and at that time the eldest was male . It's an interesting question I'm not 100% sure who has the greater claim , but seeing as how Jon has never had any desire to rule I don't believe it will become an issue between them , I think he'll be content to remain King in the North and let her have everywhere else

Didn't Daenerys hint at marriage to Jon as a solution?

Isn't Jon the mad king's grandson, not nephew? I think I'm getting myself confused now.

In simple terms, the grandson would have more of a claim to the throne than his aunt would.

I thought Jon was his Grandson but as above I'm getting a bit confused with it all haha, I just wanna see death, destruction and boobs!

my apologies yes Jon is the mad kings grandson , he is Danys nephew - son of her brother Rheagar.

I think the point I was trying to make is how could her nephew have a greater claim than her .

but the male supremacy thing may well be how it works.

King - son - grandson That's the run for the crown. Jon was alive when his father died so Jon was next in line to the throne. She only gets to claim the throne if her brothers are dead and they have no offspring.

Princess Anne wouldn't become queen if Charles died tomorrow and QE II dies on Thursday. The line runs to Charlie's children first. Anne falls behind Andrew's children even though she is older than Andrew.

As it stands now: Elizabeth - Charles - William - George - Harry - Andrew

I was unaware that was how succession worked I assumed it would go to the children of the king in order of birth , then their children .
I thought this because if you draw a family tree all the children of the king are a level above the grandchildren if you see what I mean , but as usual royalty is a law unto itself .

Caught up with the latest, I reckon Jon Snow is going to do the Mother of Dragons, she wants him I can tell... and the Dragon is his mate as well.... I can see this developing further... if he does not get killed again that is lol
