Just realised, 2 years ago today I came back from holiday got home and within 2 hours I was admitted to Hospital where I spent the next 5 - 6 weeks.
Must be a sign of age. It seems nowhere near as long as that....

Where has the time gone?
It is better to arrive 30 seconds late in this world than 30 years early in the next

Time does indeed fly by. On the plus side, you've got your health back and you're still spreading your knowledge

I moved to the Peaks 5 years ago and if someone told me it was 2 years I'd believe them. Not sleeping properly for 3 of them didn't help!

I mean, if it happened when you were 12, two years would be an eternity....at 50, it's a much smaller portion of your life.

I'm hearing ya! I said I'd work offshore for 5 years then pull the pin. Been here 4 1/2 yrs and it feels like I started last year. And after the divorce I'll be out here for at least the next 10!
Happiness is not a destination. It is a way of life.

Great to hear, & it's two years that you probably wouldn't have had if you had been born just a decade or two earlier TC.?T.C. wrote:Just realised, 2 years ago today I came back from holiday got home and within 2 hours I was admitted to Hospital where I spent the next 5 - 6 weeks.

Every morning I wake up I pay silent respects to the physicians without whom I too wouldn't even be a memory by now.
To the lifesavers, who's every working days are spent repairing us.
