The bit that really hit me was the people throwing the baby out a window, I cant imagine what Id do if it was me in that situation with my little dude, that is properly heart breaking. I really do feel for them

Did anyone see the Panorama programme last night about the fire?

Shocking stuff.

The fire brigade had dealt with the initial fire and were leaving.

Those cladding panels can't have taken much to get going.

From the reports it appears that several people got trapped together as they tried to escape the blaze. As a result they won't be able to give a final death toll for several months.

It all sounds pretty horrific.

I expect the final figure to be a couple of hundred , I heard it said that nobody above the 14th floor got out , I don't know if this is true , if it is thats 10 floors with 6 flats per floor , 40 2 bedroom flats and 20 single bedroom , thats a lot of people .
