O yeas forgot lightweight marchesini wheels that the tester said made a huge difference over the stock bikes

Stock power is no different between the R and RR, it's the revised head that makes it a better option due to easy fitment of high-lift cams.

Everything else makes the bike a worthwhile buy though (lightweight wheels for one!)

The mapping is different and it's got more mid range, if you ever ride a zx10r they feel like 600s to ride very revvy bikes

Popped into a Suzuki dealer before my hospital appointment this morning
The new gsxr 1000 is underwhelming, the colours are bland the build quality looks rubbish and it looks like any other 4 year old gixxer
I walked past two off them twice before I realised it was the new 1000
Actually the current 750 looks better
Not good enough for a flagship model, off my wishlist don't care how good it is to ride

I think the GSXR is quite nice in all honesty.. obviously the paint is the same as last year which is a marketing blunder IMO but it looks mostly good

They were doing some mega deals last year on the 750. I got very tempted to buy one as a replacement for the ZX6R.

I don't mind the look of the new gsxr1000 but once I sat on 1 I was put off a bit, 1 thing for me was when I tucked into a racing crouch I could feel the plastic airbox cover flexing where my arms sat.

The ZZR is a real mile muncher. You can cruise at high speed in comfort.

Yes it would take some explanation to the salesman for sure
Sorry I got lost at the second roundabout went straight on at a set of lights and ended up in Rome
Any discount the rear tyres squared off and the brakes are catching
