Don't a lot of commuters do that anyway?

Thats awesome. It looks almost fully complete! Plus dead easy to use, which is very important.

I like that! It's a bit gimmicky inside, but the exterior is spot on.

It's the interior I need with having 4 kids. Not many cars in the UK with 6 seats

That's because the public doesn't deserve suffering people having a family day out with their 4 kids. Keep em in your house and let the rest of us enjoy the outside in peace.

Ta.

You're both a good parent and a good citizen.

I like the idea of driverless vehicles but I have mentioned this before, we are humans will have a problem letting a program take over our own natural instincts when driving. To be fair some people don't even like be a passenger in a car not driven by themselves do to take a look and see no-one in the driving seat will take some time for people to adjust. However totally agree with kwacky it would save billions for us so will eventually happen, I just don't see 20 years as realistic. I personally think double that. Technology maybe there in 20 years though

The technology is already here. A few cars currently for sale have most or all of the features needed. For instance the new Nissans coming out can be hands free in heavy traffic and Tesla cars have everything needed. Look how many cars will park themselves and cars with automatic breaking.

The next stage is getting the cars to talk to each other and to integrate that into a traffic management system. That's the hard part.

Agreed with that but when will we feel happy to let the cars talk to one another instead of allowing our own instincts to do the hard work

Diesel cars and vehicles to have a £12.50 per day charge to enter many towns and cities by 2019. Set to be announced in Parliament this week. That's on top of any existing congestion charge.

youjnger

That's a personal thing Rossgo. You can't wait for everyone to be ready. I know that as soon as driverless cars start hitting the roads, every single serious accident will be reported

Yet 1300 people are killed on our roads each year and that barely gets a mention.

To be honest Kwacky you are right there. The future will be interesting in terms of vehicles. My hope is that it will be sort of the same as I,Robot (Will Smith film) that motorway system looks insane especially at those speeds (looks like they are easily hitting 100MPH + LOL)

One of the many reasons i wont buy another diesel. I have a 10 year old one which will go in the bin when it dies :D

Mine will be gOne in the summer hopefully to be replace by a 1.4 150bhp petrol engined cylinder on demand S tronic.

I can say though that the p/ ex values of diesels is dropping quickly. :(

I thought they might.. It will cost a lot of people a lot of money when all these tariffs come in. I'm waiting for a higher tax on diesel to appear too. Its already started in France where Diesel was cheaper than petrol - they are gradually filling the gap with extra tax now.

I'm glad mine is worth bugger all anyway tbh.
