Pinlock

First time it's had a proper test in the elements. Cold, wet and windy. Not a hint of misting up. It makes me wonder how I got on without them for so long.

I've never had a visor with pinlock, but I did used to use the stick on inserts that do the same thing. The only thing I ever struggled with was the occasional ghosting of headlights, especially after dark.

Pinlocks are good .... Its the visors you buy that arent drilled for pinlocks and you have to drill them yourself, thats a little nervy

I bought a pinlock kit to put on one of my existing visors but I was scared to drill it so I never put it on. Only had it about 18 months now :o I think I may need to pick up a new visor soonish though because this one is getting a bit marked so I think i'll go with a pinlock one next and give it a try.

AGV don't make a pinlock visor for my crash helmet, but got an new agv visor and pinlock system fitted from the pinlock shop online.

Was a real good price, wish I had got one sooner. Don't think I'll every go back to a normal visor again, been really amazed by the difference.

They don't make them for Roof helmets due to the shape of the visor, which is a shame. That said Roof lids aren't prone to misting but it does happen when it's really cold.

I don't have too much of an issue with the shark misting either, I'm fairly sure it had a thicker visor than a lot of other lids.

Fogcity where the inserts I was thinking of earlier.

I think I can fit one to my Shark speedR but have never needed to.
