Weekend plans

Post by Kwacky »

Anyone up to anything?

Mrs Kwacky is dragging me to boxercise this evening. I may reward myself with a pint later on.

Saturday I'm hoping to give the SX a good scrub and might swap the rear brake line if (a0 it's not too cold and (b) I can be arsed. Out with Mrs Kwacky for a meal on the night.

Chilling on Sunday, hopefully a family meal on the afternoon or in the evening.

I'm off to Triumph Stratford in a minute. Got some spots of rust showing on the chromed parts of my rear shocks. Shouldn't happen on a 12 month old bike, surely. I phoned Wednesday and they said pop down, they'll take some photos and sent them off to the factory for a warranty claim. Then I'm off to a boarding kennel for the dog for when we go on holiday in October. I want to have a look around the facility etc.

Saturday, going to see my Nan, she's 75 tomorrow. She found out she has acute bone marrow cancer yesterday. I go everyday after the school run to take her a newspaper and sit and chat for an hour. She's in good spirits despite the news yesterday; tomorrow evening the whole family is meeting up for her birthday as a surprise. She has no idea, which will be nice.

Sunday, if it's nice I'm going to put some miles in the bike. Maybe go to Matlock for a coffee or just down the Fosse Way to Lucy's for cake

I can't make it this Sunday but if you fancy a cake run again give me a shout.

Best wishes to your nan.
