People dying whilst waiting for care in a hospital is shameful.

Labour should be pulling the Government to pieces but not a peep is heard anywhere. Time for Corbyn to go i'm afraid.

What make it even more worrying is this winter hasn't really been cold, we've had no snow and there isn't a flu virus doing the rounds.

First we need to defeat the media that's dumbing down and debasing the debate. Most people are decent they just don't see whats happening right in front of them.

I have already drafted out my letter saying how shameful it is for a Nation such as this to have its primary healthcare in such a shambolic state.

As if the British Red Cross would lie about a humanitarian crisis.

Biggest problem is most of the people in charge are sat on their arse at home at the weekends.

When my dad was in his last few years, he spent a lot of time in and out of hospital in Lowestoft.

On the more serious incidences, when he was released from general hospital he was sent to a convalescing hospital for a few days or so to ensure it was OK for him to go home. That hospital was closed soon after he passed away.

So i guess now those people either stay in the general hospital or get sent home without being recovered enough to do so. Either way, its fairly obvious what would happen in either case and i fail to see how closing that hospital has saved the NHS any money.

Yep, they send them off home and then tell them they can't have more than 6 weeks home care. After that you're on your own.

Makes sense in a purely practical way......90% of the healthcare costs the average person incurrs during their entire life are made during the last 10 days of life (given a hospital stay).
It's easier for all parties if the person spends their last few days in their own home. with family and friends.

Six weeks is more than enough time for the typical home care necessary....although if you survive and make a recovery I suppose you could always lodge a complaint and ask for an earlier demise???

Attacking the NHS and benefits is easy for the government as they can do it without upsetting their mates. In fact their mates make money from it so everyones happy, apart from the public but we don't don't.

The UN is WRONG. The Red Cross is WRONG. The Doctors are WRONG. The Nurses are WRONG. The Paramedics are WRONG. Social Services are WRONG. The Firefighters are WRONG. The Teachers are WRONG. Disabled Charities are WRONG. Age Concern is WRONG. Train Drivers are WRONG. Tube Drivers are WRONG. Train Guards are WRONG.

It all sounds like an "authoritarian regime" to me, but I must be WRONG.
