Re: Bargains
If anyone sees any two piece leather bargains about could you let me know. My 14 year old Triumph (Alpinestars) leathers appear to have shrunk due to lack of use during lockdown.

Had a message from Halfrauds to say my battery was in store for collection.StMarks wrote:I'll let you know, when I go to collect mine mate.duke63 wrote:I think quite a few have had the acid added already which is why they obviously want them off the shelves.
Arrived to collect it & was presented with a sealed Yuasa box
Then I noticed a label stating "ready to fit, no acid inside this box"
I asked the assistant "Joe" to cut the seal for me & sure enough, no acid ampoule & the capping tray had been installed.
I pointed out that this was "Not a new battery, as it has clearly been opened because the space where the acid would be is empty & it has been activated".
He replied; "that is brand new, we only get them from Yuasa like that and never with the acid separate"
Rather disappointed, to say the least.

Fwiw it will probably be those scumbag scooter muggers that are behind it.
Would be more appropriate to make the twunts self-inflict with their weapon of choice, rather than disrupt everyone with this legislation. it would also possibly be a more effective deterrent, imo.

Re: Bargains
I had a look at the sale but there's nothing really jumping out. I need a load of new cloths.

Re: Bargains
Standard Microfibres? I use Kirkland (yellow) MFs. They're good enough and have a short and long knap side. Short is great for glass FYI. It's a big bulk bag for about £20.
If you're after a super plush cloth then Alien Magic detailing do a 550gsm edgeless cloth which is fantastic, I use it for the waterless wash when removing bird poo.
I don't know how Autobrite cloths compare but they likely all use the same 1 or 2 sources.

Re: Bargains
I was ordering something for work on RS Components. There was a suggested product which was exactly the brush I was looking for and it was mega cheap on their site. Asked my manager and he said, "just order it, we need a brush for that rig - don't we".. top man! haha.
