At least seven people were arrested and 10 motorcycles seized last night as a gang of up to 200 bikers rode amok across public roads in Solihull and Birmingham.
The riders – many wearing face coverings – caused chaos as they sped along major roads, jumped red lights, weaved between traffic and pulled dangerous street stunts.
At one stage a police van came under attack and there were reports that some of the group hurled fireworks at other motorists.
Five men and two male youths were arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, causing a public nuisance and motoring offences.

Leeds caught the same disease as well.

The group of around 50 off-road motorcycles and quad bikes brought Kirkstall Road, a major route into Leeds, to a standstill earlier.
Witnesses posted videos on Twitter and described the scenes as being similar to those in the Mel Gibson film Mad Max.

Re: Birmingham "bikers" last night
We really are our own worst enemies in many regards.....not 'us' per se, but the morons who propagate the 'biker rebel bullsh*t' mantra. It put me off road-riding for a long time...or at least culled the list of people I'd ride with down to just a few mates who I know outside of biking aswell as in it. More than one person on the Triumph group rides was told "don't come back".....

YouTube videos will prove anything you want them to. No-one is forced to watch them. Vehicle crime stats for the US/Canada/UK are remarkably similar, and the vast majority of it is narcotic related in some manner.
So there.
