One of many, lol. I also worked on street twin, thruxton, Bonneville big and small. Not sure if that's been spotted, but a smaller Bonneville T100 and smaller street cup (mini thruxton) have also come out.

Yes though. Been pretty busy and hectic for this model and still is. I've known about the bike and seen it in many forms through development for about 4 years. Like you, something about it is really appealing. Not sure why as it's not my normal type of thing. So it has been really frustrating not being able to discuss it.

I think I saw some shots of the bobber from Spain testing last year. The final version looks pretty sweet.

I know on the 675cc forum Triumph are being slagged off for not doing supersports bikes any more but I think there's nothing wrong in having a brand identity. A company needs to shift units if it wants to progress.

I don't think I've spotted the smaller thruxton.

I think it's a shame Triumph aren't making a sports bike any more but if it's not selling, there's no point in making it. Simple as that really.

Exactly that. If something take X millions to develop, but then you only sell x amount, then it becomes commercially unviable. supply and demand. No one (large amounts) are demanding sports bikes.

If you have huge resources (Honda etc) then you can take that hit

Finally a bike for The Village People & The Keystone Cops all rolled into one!

I can see that bike being a big hit in North America with the lasses...the HD Sportster is a woefully inept bike...Triumph would be hard-pressed to put out a worse product than that.

And it just looks cool.

I can see it will sell - good move by Triumph.

However i really don't like it - not for me i'm afraid.

What sort of torque and bhp is it turning out?

I'm guessing that is the shock that can be seen under the seat and it isn't really a hard tail.
