2017 dates for the diary?

Post by Kwacky »

Having been reminded how much I enjoy my visits to the isle of man I'll be looking to go around about the same time next year, so that's 8th - 10th Sept

I also fancy a few days again in Europe. I can't spend too long away but maybe a few days in early June around Belgium and that way for a change?

Any ideas or suggestions?

Wheelie School (I know we've talked about it before)

Santa Pod RWYB day

Some other training event or something like the speedway thing some of you guys did before.

Just ideas, mind...

Something off road would be good.

Wouldn't mind a long weekend in North Wales if we can find the right place to stay. Ride there Friday evening. Two days riding in Wales and back Sunday evening.

To indulge your sweet tooth we have Danish pastries, muffins, scones, toasted teacakes, bara brith (a Welsh tea loaf) and a selection of puddings and desserts.

I would suggest my mum's new holiday home, but she's just pulled out of the sale. Still looking for another one though so may still be on the cards.

An ex girlfriend runs a place near Snowdonia, I'm sure she would be pleased to see me after all this time (punch)

I bumped into a guy riding a green lane that worked for CCM in Bolton a few weeks ago. He mentioned the factory arrange off road ride outs around the Peaks on their GP450s

I know it's a long way off but does anyone fancy the Isle of Man ManxGP in 2018? I can't do it next year but if we want to go as a group we'll need to sort out hotels at least 12 months before.

Just a suggestion.

Don't laugh, I'd be pretty keen to try and make that. I'm hopefully doing a trip to the States this year to see my sister and her family, but IOM is definitely on my next 5 years hit list. I'm moving positions at work in the next couple of months by the sounds which will mean a change in roster, but if I can make it line up I'll definitely price it up.

So.... who's brave enough to lend me a bike? (lol)

If I've got two bikes you can certainly have one for the trip.

Cheers for the offer mate, but if I come over I'd want to do a bit of time in the UK too, and Jess would be in tow so I'd look at hiring something for the duration.
