The A44

Post by Tuffers »

I've moved house and now live just off the A44 between Bromyard and Worcester. It's a bikers heaven! Loads of twisties! We live up on a hill and can hear the bikes coming up and down and see them going up a hill and round a bend at the top. The amount of bikes going past is unreal. I love listening and guessing where on the road they are.

Anyone ride the A44?

I had a go on it the other day, from Llandrindod Wells to Leominster.
Awesome, as if it were made for biking.

Also, if you get as far over as Llandrindod then take a right onto the A483 to Newtown. You'll not be disappointed.

Yep, I use the 44. Nice roads around that way. Plenty of good small country roads.

With one thing and another I've been crap at organising ride outs this year. I can't remember the last one anyone planned. Next date I can do is 24th or 25th Sept.

This sounds interesting Kwacky. As long as good weather and I can get my sat nav added to the bike I'd be up for it. Maybe not as far as Aber though purely because of the darkness setting in earlier by that time of year and I hate riding at night!!
