Weekend plans

Post by Kwacky »

What's everyone up to?

Gym tonight then a few beers with Beermonster
Hoping to get out on the bike tomorrow, but the weather does not look promising. Out to a mate's party on the night
Sunday morning is my niece's 3rd birthday party. No plans for the rest of the day.

I need to get the SX booked in for a service at some point. That needs to be done before I go to the Isle of Man.

Tonight, will be mainly sitting maybe a trip to the pub.

Tomorrow was going to be out on the bike, but after today's rain, the forecast for tomorrow, and my hand still hurting that looks to be off. Seems the replacement activity is buying the kids new school shoes (dull)

Nothing planned for Sunday, might take the kids out.

Looking forward to getting back to work on Monday for a rest.

Been chilling in hot tub now watching Men 10 metre diving, Rio Olympics.

Tomorrow last day of Jollydays so depends on weather but a pretty relaxed day whatever.

Sunday hopefully a ride but depends on a few this coming together. If not probably nip out for lunch somewhere to extend the holiday feeling for a little longer.

It's my partners birthday today so we are off to Bath to have a walk and take in some sites. Then we may pop to a cafe then later we will probably a meal. Tomorrow out for a BBQ but weather looks a tad crap!!

Late home last night, but went off to stock up on gin and food this morning, then sorting out #1 sons Birthday present for tomorrow's party for him here.

I helped him fit a new starter motor to his bike a while back and found out that he wanted a decent toolkit - with good makes he could rely on that worked properly and didn't break or fall apart like his current set of hand-me-downs and cheap junk.

So I've bought him just that, but as a selection of good brands rather than a proprietary "toolset". I've got a selection of Teng, Bahco, Hilka, Blue Point and Facom for him in a nearly new second hand Snap On toolbox. We've included the spare key and tatty original number plate from his first bike (Derbi GPR50) that we thought we'd lost, but found when clearing up awhile back. Fingers crossed he likes it.

I'm sure he will and know I would have really appreciated that if my Dad and dome the same.

That's a gift he will cherish all his life (y)

Great idea.

He'll love it, wish my dad had done that for me. I'd bought a selection of tools before I joined the Airforce and while away they went missing. I found out after I'd re-stocked it was the old fella that had scored them :(

The plate and key is a nice touch too mate (y)
