Re: Lego in space
I like this idea!!!
The reason I got into history so much was through Airfix kits....not the kits themselves, the blurb on the back about what each weapon did, it's performance, where, etc. etc.

Re: Lego in space
Lego is ace. They've done a brilliant job with marketing. It used to be a few bricks in my day but some of the models they do know are breath-taking. Plus there's the film, animation, comics, games etc.

Re: Lego in space
My lads have lego and some of the kits are truly amazing and very cleverly designed although also very expensive for the larger kits.

Re: Lego in space
The problem with Lego now is its cost - even small kits are big money.
When I do see my brother I spend more time playing Lego with my nephew than anything else

Re: Lego in space
My young fella loves Lego and the whole franchise. It's been great at teaching him to follow instructions, comprehension, spacious awareness and increased his dexterity. All areas we work on with his ASD.
Only problem is I'm not allowed to play with them once they are built! He gets shirty if a bit gets knocked off but I once suggested 'the kraggle' and got told off severely!
