Have you checked all the connections on the power commander loom? My power commanders wiring wasn't very good and one of the wires to a pin was loose. You may have dislodged it when fitting the quickshifter. Give each wire a pull individually and see if any are loose?
It was one of the green wires on mine but obviously yours might be different.

Problems with running a PC and a QS on the same bike are not uncommon and it seems it affects many different types of bike. And no one really seems to have an answer for it. I can understand how a PC might be confused by being told there is no fuel or spark as the QS works as it would be at relatively high revs.

Just wonder if it has an inbuilt safety mechanism in its software to say there is something wrong that it doesn't understand.

Thanks for thr info Duke (y) but not 100% sure this was occuring in my set up as it only happened when hot at idle which obviously doesn't involve the use of the QS. Also as Rocket points out it happened when the QS was removed so either there is a fault with the PCV or a fault with the servo eliminator, either of which could be purely random or possibly caused by the QS doing some form of circuit overload before its removal :?
