Knox glove repairs

Post by DaytonAndy »

Just wanted to give a little shout out to Knox gloves. I damaged one of my gloves in my recent little off at Oulton. The glove did its job in the crash perfectly as my hands were fine but the air scoops and boa lace buckle had snapped off. I rang them up and they said to send it in to them and they'd have a look at it. They've just repaired it and sent it back to me within a week for the princely sum of zero pounds. Not sure if they're trying to tell me something but they even sent me a bottle of Nikwax leather cleaner for nothing! Seriously good customer services and great gloves (handroids). Thank you Knox! thats amazing backup especially for free , I bought some handroids this year and thought it a bit of an indulgence because of the price but they are well comfy now they are breaking in and the protection looks spot on.
Good to hear your feedback

Awesome !! It's nice when a company looks after their customers.

Also, let us know what that leather cleaner is like and if it dries out the leather mainly

Bloody hell that's impressive, what did you say or do to get away with the repair for free?!!

That's great news, especially as I too have Knox Handroids.
I brought mine as I broke the knuckle of my little finger two years ago at Cadwell, and it despite being a minor injury it was debilitating in some respects for months afterwards.
I guess they worked better than my old gloves, because in my recent crash my hands survived unscathed.
But then so did my Handroids.

I think they do that to avoid any bad press. The boa lace system used to tighten the gloves is pretty unique to Knox so they don't want stories of ruined gloves floating round. It probably cost them pennies to fix and I've gone away a happy customer singing their praises!

But that's how all companies should be not the one offs. Like you say pennies and they get a happy person singing there praises.
"80mph" sorry officer I possibly could not have done that I'm no Valentino Rossi.
