Thanks again for all the tips.

I think I got the balance right. The one piece waterproof was a pain to carry around, I think two piece would be better. That said it was invaluable last night as we faced thunderstorms and torrential rain on the way back.

Everything I took with me I used, apart from (thankfully) the first aid kit and the hi viz jacked.

I did say to Duke that a topbox looks pretty good to have. I might have a think about getting one if I'm going overseas on the SX again.

Having a break at Cookie's house helped a lot, both in terms of just chilling and in being able to use a washing machine.
