FAO Perkles

Post by Blade »

First ride today with the quickshifter fitted.

You absolutely MUST have one mate. Out of all the mods we have done to our bikes this is the ONE to have. Feeding it gears as the dash does its disco dance is what this bike was designed for (rock)

Only negative 82 miles and fuel light is on (blush) but fook it, it's definitely worth it (lol)

It's all auto adjusted on mine tbh. Once I got the hang off it the changes were silky smooth and really enjoyed working the box.

Sounds great but carefully check your oil at the next oil change!! Also, i've been told you should avoid using it below 8k RPM - certain manufacturers put a lock on the system so it can't be used because it damages the gearbox

Would it not do more damage if you tried a full throttle clutchess up shift at say 7k and the manufacturer had disabled the qs function ?
