community fund for accidents, homeless, people who don't have insurance?

I'm sure it varies from state to state. Healthcare plans usually come with an employment contract, people who aren't employed get Medicare. If it comes with employment then it covers your spouse & sprogs, etc.
I know that no matter what insurance I've had/have, I've had the same GP for almost 20 years, which at the end of it all is what counts, I suppose.
Only difference I ever noticed is my co-pay has varied a bit....but not by that much.
When I had my wreck & my new bionic hip installed, they just did what was necessary and then take care of the paperwork later.
The op. was $106,000 or something ridiculous like that, and I ended up paying maybe $2-3K out-of-pocket??
And I'm half an inch taller as a result, which makes it would every single penny just for that alone!!

OK thanks. As you probably know pet insurance and private medical care here is known for clever' get outs', people think they are insured but then the circumstances or the nature of the accident can somehow not be covered due to small print exceptions/ clauses that allow the insurance company to escape paying out. glad you are OK.

Well, in all honesty I don't think you can pin it down to just one thing like medical costs....that just doesn't seem rational.
If someone is sick enough to be incurring huge medical bills, then it's doubtful they're earning any income to offset their expenditures. Filing a BK gives a lot of people a much needed fresh start, a chance to rebuild.

chipped something off one of my teeth, doesn't hurt at all but feels blooming weird so trying to get a dentist app just to get it checked out for peace of mind, plus I really fancy a proper clean from them as always feels awesome after that

NEVER go cold turkey or cut down drug intake drastically. I wasn't addicted to them but I was dependent on them for pain relief and now I don't have them I'm struggling
