Ducati love them and Yamaha toyed with them last season and it now seems Honda have joined the party.

How long before we see these on road bikes (facepalm)

I imagine a few carbon companies are already designing some for road bikes.

You can buy them for cars so I suspect it won't be long for the bikes.

I've seen that before.
(shocked) They've nicked that idea........

That looks exactly like the Duct tape I have on my track fairings, to try to stop the crack growing. (nod)

/goes off to write a PM to Kwacky about finding a good copy write lawyer..

Unless you are doing around 200mph I can't see they have much worth to your average rider.

Looking at today's Losail times I can't see the Honda needs them anyway. :D

Pointless, stupid and dangerous for a road bike, IMO

You should be in marketing (giggle) All joking aside that's probably the appeal to some muppets.

Very true.: I have a brake guard on my (mainly) trackbike, and due to my occasionally "overly enthusiastic" riding it serves a purpose.
But I see loads of road bikes with them these days, and even with matching ones on the clutch lever (still can't work that one out.?? )

they stop you from bashing your knuckles on wing mirrors

re : wings/winglets I cant see how the would be helpful except as Duke says you are doing 200mph also I cant see them working when the bike is leaned over as surely downforce at that angle would only push the front wide unless the wing changed angle

ha ha ^ (giggle)

To be fair they all look like the bits sticking out on most road bikes already, what are they now, oh yeah indicators...

They must work and anyhing above 80/90 I bet there creating down force. There are far more dangerous things being put on bikes. Last year I saw a hayabusa every bolt was replaced with a sharp point as big as a finger nail this also included the bar ends which were massive sharp points. He had carried this theme all over the bike. I would not like to get hit by that bike it looked cack and dangerous

That's because it was a Hayabusa
The "stoopid spikes" couldn't really make it look worse, just different.! ;)

I like Hayabusas!!......For what they were designed, which was fast speeds over long distances....but yes, the "pimped out" ones make me want to hurl.
