Saville enquiry

Post by duke63 »

What an absolute farce.

Scapegoats everywhere yet those with the ultimate responsibility seem to have got away scot free.

'Missed' chances to stop it or were some at the top so heavily involved that they didn't want it stop?

Public funded body tells public to sod off?

I see they've used Blackburn as a scapegoat to take some of the heat off them.

Bunch of crooks. It's time to sell the BBC

Agreed. That report is outrageous.

Plus the quality of most of their programmes is way down now and BBC news has become a watered down set of selective stories for the below average intelligence.

Time to go and sell it to a commercial company.

Murdoch would buy it and nothing would change.

It's pretty clear that the establishment has known that this sort of thing was going on in parliament, public organisations and other places for years and it's been quietly hushed up until the perpetrators are dead, so as not to bring any disgrace on our gloriously revered Thatcher's government, god bless her perfect Conservative soul.

Typically tory.

Quite astonishing the discussion on the Jeremy Vine show today about this.

It was so obviously a known issue with Savile that all women in the BBC kept well clear ..unless they wanted to be molested. So why was nothing done to stop him?

It isn't just Tory thing though Monty. MPs from all Party's have been outed as a paedos. Obviously endemic in our corrupt political system.

But it simply cannot be unique to politicians...they are simply more prone to a massive public outrage when er, uncovered. Speaking as a victim of child sex abuse myself, this is obviously a topic that I feel very strongly about....for every case we hear about, there are countless that are never reported and never will be.
