I paid £350 for my AXO. They retail for £900. You can find well known and tested brands for a bargain.

Yes that's not good. Poor bloke think the sizes are wrong!! I tried on a lot to get my size right. I know people are on a budget but it doesn't take a lot to go to a shop and try on the different makes.

Looking at it a slightly different way. Perhaps the rider is to blame rather than the leather company. If he took poor measurements that didn't really reflect his dimensions you can't blame the leather company as they are only making what was asked for. I think perhaps what was missing here was a professional, accurate fitting / measurement session.

I agree. I did tell him to take new measurements and to get it adjusted.

I'll never use the cheap stuff..

My A* suit retails at £1000.. I got it for £570 shipped. They claim it's the first 100% CE approved suit in existance.

Well i am one that has used and will be using again a custom suit which is made by a on-line provider. I was happy with the first and the fit was better than i have personally have tried in shops. For me its not how the leathers look its a by product its how they fit and crashed i was happy with.

I think there's just as much risk with poor advice given in shops about fitments or people buying online with out trying a suit on. It may be a great deal but if it don't fit right its not going to do its job.

Rocket, loads of people have custom leathers and you can see why when you get a good set.

But those I posted are cheap and a poor fit. There's nothing good about them.

I've had a few issues with my alpinestars suit (gp-pro so not cheap) including the main zip at the front failing for no real reason. When I took it for repair they commented that not only did the zip look wrongly fitted but it really was not fit for purpose. They (Joyda leathers - who I can't rate high enough) would not even use a zip that size on the ankles of their suits let alone as the main one.

That depends on which shop and how much you're paying.

I'm sure you can get a decent enough set of leathers for £300. Probably. I haven't seen one, though.
