Well, all I can say is; Bring it on.

Winter '63 was "proper cold", & I think being reminded of that sort of weather wouldn't be a bad thing.

Besides, despite TB's recent positive experience, the European Ski resorts are generally reporting a terrible year because it is simply too warm to support a proper snow cover. Apparently pretty much all resorts below 2000m have been plagued by rain.!!

Also, the oil prices are so low at the moment that I don't even mind Deany turning the thermostat up to 16 .!! (Occasionally)

and I thought I was bad keeping ours at 19.5

15.5 for ours. Occassionally it some how increases to 17.5. Ive not found out why

What a load of old bollocks. It's only going to be cold for about 4-5 days.

Good, need a serious cold snap to kill off the wasps for the summer.

17.5c or even 16c?? Mrs Gee would cease to function at that temp, sadly ours is perpetually 20C or more, I fight the battles I can win - the thermostat is not one of them.

Fantastic, don't care if it's ice until April if it does away with wasps. I really dislike wasps more than any other creature on this planet. (That I've encountered that is)

15C in our house, I'd fit a dummy thermostat and let have what ever temperature she thinks it is

You guys are miserable! If the OUTSIDE temp gets below 15-16°C I light the fire. I try to keep a 20°C inside minimum, but with the fire cranked in winter it's usually sits around 24-25°C. But our summers are 30-40°C so I guess we are soft

In comparison, the HVAC (air con) system at work maintains 24°C inside the accommodation and people complain it feels too cold!

Anyway, it's hardly surprising.; Very stressful times for KK.

However apparently there are some little blue pills that are meant to be very effective.

Well the 'Snowbomb' must be here !! I had to scrape the windscreen this morning

We were going to be in the blast zone on Saturday - that forecast lasted 3hrs before it got changed to more rain....
