Parcel delivery companies

So been away most of the week, and it seems I had a few parcels arrive early in the week, only to be left outside by the front door! (facepalm) :@

The driver or someone wheeled my wheelie up to the front door where they were left and tried to hide them by blocking from the road ! However they were not hidden, and were wet..... As they had been there for 3 days looking at the dates on the box.

Un-bloody-real......I suppose I am lucky they are still there, but very poor show from Parcel force... I will be writing to the company who were sending the goods, I know it will go no where, but they should be aware of this shoddy behaviour.

On a positive everything inside seems to be dry and ok, even thought the boxes were soggy.

I dot think they want to card anymore ! They just want to leave the parcel anywhere so they don't have to come back.....

There is a good clip on Twitter showing a Yodel driver tossing parcels from one HGV trailer into another.
He got the sack.

Prat, those are peoples Christmas presents.

now if you were a dishonest person ;) you could say you never received these parcels as you/anyone never signed for them and the parcel companies also cannot prove they delivered them.

Very true mate, but I am not..... Plus I do believe "what goes around comes around" and I will pay for it somewhere down the line. I can wrap them this afternoon so all is good. ;)

We had a parcel put in our wheelie bin while we were on holiday. Our kind neighbours then pulled the wheelie bin to the road on bin day. Bye bye parcel. The only reason we knew was because they did leave a card saying it was in the bin. We can only assume it was contact lenses as luckily we hadnt ordered anything

Tbh so far this Christmas the delivery companies have been OK for us, but we've got agreed safe spots to leave parcels in, not sure if that makes a difference?

Its the variance between companies i find so strange. Some are very good at what they do, DPD appear to be excellent and let you know when it will be delivered the day before and we now even have an option for it to be left at the shop across the road and pick up there.

I think it's dpd that give us a 1 hour time slot for the delivery and if that's not suitable we can reschedule the delivery day or request the parcel is left with a neighbour.

Personally don't rate royal mail at all. The guys work hard but haven't got the support behind them to make them a reliable good company.

Like others have said I've have DPD and fed ex and, there's another one which I can't think of the name for the life of me. What which all send out emails and texts and all do a smashing job. Although it is a hard job delivering one I wouldn't want to do again!!

(facepalm) so I get a shout from next door this morning, they have a parcel for me.... I had no idea it was there, no card in my letter box to say anything..

Arrived home last night to find to letters on the door step with next doors house number on them, ffs.... I have a number on the front of my house as does next door, surly to god they should be able to read a number and address if they are employed to do that for a living (facepalm) (facepalm)
I am looking forward to the Christmas break, I can chill and just forget all these muppets for a few days (groupdrink) (deadhorse) ha ha ha

I came home yesterday afternoon to find one parcel in a wheelie bin and another behind the same bin. No cards through the letterbox. Nothing.
