I thought the film would be crap, but the trailer has got me interested.

I got to admit I've not been looking forward to this but it looked good. I just don't see how Batman could ever beat superman. It's just ridiculous to even think it.

Superman has his weaknesses, which Batman is prepared to exploit. Batman almost kills him in the Dark Knight series done by Frank Miller.

Kryptonite is a weakness, but in everythin I've seen there is no reason superman should ever be able to be affected by it. He's faster than a speeding bullet, can hear everything, super strong, can fly. He'd evade it every time.

Superman is squeaky clean. He believes that he acts in the best interests of the world and sees himself as some sort of guardian. It's one of the reasons why he refuses to kill. He also sticks within the law.

Batman is seen outside of Gotham as a vigilante. He works at night and is prepared to do what it takes. Although he doesn't go out to kill, there have been deaths.

It's not just Kryptonite he's weak to. He relies on our sun's radiation to give him his powers, so he weakens if he's away from it. He's also weak to magic.

it actually looks ok in the trailer i thought this would be a steaming pile of shite but at least the trailer looks ok (im still not convinced on Ben Affleck as batman)

I love the darker superhero films.

I think Affleck might be quite good. He looks the part of a tired and battle weary Batman.

You still have to hit superman, and he's too fast. And he can just fly high stay in the suns rays above cloud and lazer beam people to death. He doesn't even need to land anywhere near threats. Granted it'd make for a boring film, but there's just no way batman would win (and I much prefer batman, although new man of steel film was good).
