Bit of a strange one really as he really laid into Ducati management in his book.
Still if he helps get the big red machine winning again then i will be happy.

Race wins and a high profile name can forgive all that negative stuff in the past Duke.
He will race their profile and hopefully bring them some victories.

I guess Ducati management has changed since then and there is no doubt they need someone who knows what winning regularly is all about to give more of an insight as to where they need to improve.

I'm looking forward to seeing him as wild card in a few rounds one of which will have to be Philip Island
Casey could win riding a Barn Gate at the island

Re: Stoner returns to Ducati MotoGP fold
I just cannot see Stoner and Marquez seeing eye to eye at all. Could be interesting if they are on track together.
If Stoner feels happy about riding the bike you would think Ducati might want him riding at Mugello and Misano too.

Re: Stoner returns to Ducati MotoGP fold
If he is happy with the bike I think he will definitely want to do a few races but only if if he feels confident the bike is capable of a win. One thing is for sure Casey won't be riding round to make the numbers up. He is one of the most naturally talented racers I have ever seen and will be a privilege to watch him head to head with Marquez both completely sideways with neither giving an inch.
Like him or louth him, Casey is a pure racer interested in winning only. He never settles for points as there sensible for the championship title. He has one goal in every race he enters. WIN it
