Well its the 1st Sunday on the month so headed out with the Bull Dog lot.... Dressed for rain and it came ha ha, still it did dry for a short period on the way back. Not often I get taken on a road I have never been on before,,, so that was fun :)

Could not put the bike away without a good wash, it was disgusting, so much crap on the roads :(

I've gone in to work. It was a tad chilly this morning but I've been colder.

I've got 2 bars left on the petrol gauge but the range calculator says I've got 100 miles left. Yeah. Right. Like I'm falling for that one.

Checked both bikes. Put them both on the optimate as both batteries were a little low. I didn't realise that the dash on the MV flashes with the battery voltage when it's below 12v.

The kwak hasn't been under a cover so it's a little bit dusty so it's had a wipe down with a really soft cloth. I do love the paint on the SX, it really sparkles.

Can't even get mine out of the garage at the moment. The first windy spell we had caught the door whilst it was open and pulled it off the rails. I had to cut one of the cables to enable me to close it.

Its an up and over garage door and is past its best.

Waiting for a quote to have it replaced with a roller shutter door.

Gave it a good blast this afternoon, a few hours hooning in the dry!!! So much nicer than bloody rain and muddy roads.

Managed an hour and a half on the Triumph after carefully opening the garage door. Ive found opening the door isnt a problem...but closing it is. Will be much happier when the new one is fitted.

I took the MV out to meet cookie for coffee and breakfast.

I've given the MVa quick wash. Rinse, shampoo, rinse then dry. It's come up very shiny so I'm guessing that other products I've used in the past are doing their job.

Commuted into work on the SX. There are loads of roadworks from the motorway to work. Most of it is single lane so being on a bike wasn't any help.

Thankfully it wasn't too cold this morning.

Checked the bikes over. I applied some sunlight protector on the black plastics of the SX.

Took the MV out for a quick loop around Droitwich.

Must have had a premonition yesterday as I decided to break the bike out from under it's cover and sort it out. Quick ride round the (50 mile) block and a fresh tank of fuel.

Then later Frankie messages seeing if anyone fancied breakfast at Lucy's.

Today, rode to Lucy's and had breakfast. The ride there was cold, it may look sunny but your soon reminded it's still early spring. Traffic and driving standards on the way back where both appalling. Was great to get out though, audio great to see kingfixer.

Let's hope this is the first of many rides.

First ride in over 4 months and covered 170 miles going up to Kettlewell, Hawes, Masham and Ripon before heading home down the A1.

The new seat is much better although I did get some discomfort on the motorway home, I used to get that at 80-100 miles so 160+ is a big improvement and I need to get used to it again after so long off the bike.

For the first time ever I contemplated selling my bike. It would wipe off most of one of my credit cards.

To be fair we have all been there at one time or other in our lives. A good call to get back on the straight and narrow, and start again clean.

Just be sure your 100% committed. The loan you take out in 2 months time to buy another bike because all you can hear it's bikes ragging about everywhere can get more expensive.

Not that I've done it or anything.. XJR1300 after writing the D6 off, used the insurance to pay off some. Hated that XJR as well.

Had you considered talking to a financial advisor, interest rates are starting to climb so consolidating any credit cards into a single fixed rate loan might be an idea.
