Strangely enough Sam got all your leathers out today, wiped them down and put them outside for a couple of hours to air.

Must be an omen.

You can do it, Andy. Long way to go but would be worth all the effort and heartache. Riding bikes will give you back the 'alive' feeling.

I've got plenty of magazines to keep me occupied anyhow
By the time I'm through that lot I expect a fifty percent improvement :)
I talk to a lady who was paralysed from the waist down in a horse riding accident she now does track days on a modified bike

Spanked it, got very wet, found some more dry roads and spanked it again, then got proper wet.

Got home and washed it.

Note to self, next time the weather looks a bit iffy WEAR GORTEX !!!

Sitting at a cafe while the new tyres get fitted.

Rang the guy and ordered them last week and hadn't heard from him. Jess and I are doing a trip away on the weekend so gave him a call this morning. The tyre rep was just pulling out of his driveway so he asked if I could get over straight away. No dramas.

Last night was a low of 1 deg C. By the time I headed of on the bike it was 5 deg. I'd put summer gloves on as I knew it'd be too warm on the way home. Luckily the integrated heated grips are thermo nuclear!! Even on MED my hands got too hot.

Since the tyres are going to be done with plenty of time before the kids get back from school I might just have to go scrub them in (nod)

Gone the Angel GT's. 3/4 of all my riding nowadays is touring two up, so these tyres fit the bill. They've still grippy enough to push a bit on my own and I have plenty of confidence in them from the time on them in NZ.

Didn't get the scrub in I wanted, to much traffic about. Might have to nip out again before Fridays trip (nod)

Been to watch the Ducati trackday at Donington. A real cross section of bikes there.

Loads of Panigales including anew 1299 Superleggera and one 2017 1299RS, a few Monsters and Multis, a few 749/999s and a few 748/996 bikes.

Also a couple of X Diavels but they don't half shift on a track.

Will load some photos in a bit.

Have a guess on the cost of the 1299RS at the top of those photos? If you can get hold of one that is.

I had a play with a Busa in the Birmingham traffic this morning. The bloke was wearing a hoodie with NB on the back and "ride to live" on it. Tracksuit bottoms and trainers as well as the obligatory short stunt gloves.

I suspect he's going to spend the rest of the day trying to find out how much BHP a Versys throws out (?devil)

Got the 675 out of the van. Put all the road stuff back on it and bleed the radiator again. See if it's any better.

I am 100% certain it wasn't Binno.

The bike lacked chrome and the rider had a very very dark suntan
