Somehow lost one of me earplugs so rode home with just one in.

I've no idea how people ride without ear plugs in

Totally agree with you Kwacky. Since getting mine I won't ride without them. So comfy and helps you out long term too

I lost mine once, went for a short blast, had to stop at a local bike shop to buy some.

I never ride without them now.

Always carry spares for this reason. Get the little soft ones in individual bags and throw a few pair under your seat or in your bum bag.

I dare say you have a similar endless supply system I do Blade (lol)

The first session I did at the track on the ZX10R I forgot to put plugs in, bloody ears were ringing for hours!!!

It was a nice, dry and warm ride into work this morning. Let's hope we're seeing an end to the cold starts.

Was planning to get out on the bike this afternoon but the last 2 hours of work really got to me and I'm now shattered so thought better of it. Saturday I want to get out early and make the most of dry roads I hope

It might be warming up but it's still not warm enough for race boots.

I washed my Goretex boots last night. There were still a bit damp this morning so I put my AXO boots on. I had cold tootsies when I got to work.

I was working from the home office today and got rapidly bored as it looked nice outside so took the Multi down to Fowlers and had a breakfast, when I got back it was still nice so got the 999 out and took for a short spin up the Ducati dealers and had a coffee, almost forgot what a beautiful thing she is when you get a good look at her.

From side on the 999 looks like a brand new design. It's only the headlight that dates it IMHO.

Bike looks stunning Mick 8)

Funny how some designs are so ahead of there time they take a decade before they can be truly appreciated.

Having got her originally as 50/50 road/ track bike, and after spending a bit of money on her to get her right I'm almost loathesome to take her on track as I would be gutted if I ruined it ;(
So I have found myself looking at cheap track bikes so that I wouldn't be bothered if I crashed (facepalm) and just let the 999 grow old gracefully :)

Makes perfect sense to me and you might want to consider getting a comfy chair for the garage.
