Had a lazy morning, picked the kids up for lunch and a couple of hours at the park. Then shopped for dinner and cooked a nice meal for Jess and myself.

Review by my doc on Monday and if I get clearance travel up to Darwin on Tuesday and out to work on Wednesday for my last week of the swing.

Thought I was doing ok but until today I’ve not moved much. Climbing in and out of the car and a bit of walking have left me a bit achy this evening.

Bought 2 kites this holiday. 1 was a 'Car's' basic 3 yesr old one and tofay I upgraded to a 2 string speed more! Feels a lot better havenr flown one for years but this. 2 string one is great get some serious speed and goes up high but if it goes down it comes crashing down and could hurt someone! We got it into a quiet area yet people still walled under it, if it came down it would prob knock someone out!

Had a little walk at a Lake today whilst some of the fanily went paddel boarding. Also yesterday in the way to another lake we stumbled across a true biking road. It was bend after bend with no steep 'catch you out' bends it was so smooth too easily triple figure bends! Would love to of ridden that road!

had a good day at rockingham , limited numbers but I was expecting that as it was the first TD for a new company , I think there were only 2 stoppages all day , everybody seemed to be having fun and had several people ask for photos so hopefully the start of a good thing for me and the new TD company . The studio shots I wanted to do turned out fantastically well ( I am biased )

Flying my drone down and Jess’ place and then crashed it. Luckily only broke a $15 camera mount

FYI neither of the stoppages at yesterdays trackday were due to crashes , one was to investigate a suspected oil spill - it wasn't somebody's rad boiled over a bit and a collection from a breakdown , I can't remember attending a trackday where there were no crashes at all . This did mean that we had to work all day without a break apart from lunch , well the apprentice, did I spent the majority of the afternoon engaged in customer relations which involved drinking copious amounts of tea and doing the static shoot .
