Watching the flames on the log burner. Listening to Elvis and enjoying a fine cognac. Will fall asleep on the sofa and go watch the sun rise on a beautiful cornish coast line before the city slickers invade (blush)

Will then enjoy a nice breakfast of fresh mackerel which we caught today. Peace time long over due (rock)

Bliss (rock)

Sounds like pure bliss Blade. Enjoy your chill time - you've waded through a lot of mud this year, you deserve it.

Sat in the sun, in a pub beer garden. The kids are happily playing and I've got a point of cider.

Relaxing today doing all the cleaning and clothes washing.

Also looking into insurance premiums for a litre sportbike (Blade and GSXR being favourites regardless of my feeling for the new Blade i just know that the Blade will do exactly what its supppse to do) upto and including 10 years old. Cheapest quote so far £3700 fully comp and then the next one was around £5K - big excesses...its annoying as I really want to cure the bigger bike itch but at those prices there's no way on earth would I fork out that sort of dosh.

Bracing for a heatwave that's supposed to last for ages....or at least a week or so.

It'll be in the 90's again today....which, considering I live pretty close to the beach, is fecking ridiculous.

Oh, the pain...

Currently sat in Addisons whilst they change my tyres on the car. It has to go back tomorrow and I have continued using the winter tyres as I knew the Pirellis were close to the limit. Jason says they are still within the minimum requirements and he will do me a note to say that for when the car is checked over before pick up. Top service.

I'm sat at Vue Cinema by myself!!

So Christmas just gone I got a Vue voucher worth £25. I don't really go to the cinema but when I do I go to Showcase Xplus cinema

1.because is an Xplus and it's awesome
2. Because it's 5 mins away from where I live
3. Because it's free parking

Last time I went was to go and see Dunkirk, which was fantastic, the shots were incredible

Sitting here listening to music (you know what they usually put on before the film Starts) and I'm thinking the cinema speakers are like they haven't been changed since the 00s, crackly, not as clear as what they could be.

Anyway had a few hours before my missus comes home from work and I thought I'll use my voucher and I'll see

CARS 3 yay

Seriously these speakers are fecking shocking

Best not be like this for the film!

There's another film I want to see which someone has mentioned already
Hitmans Bodyguard - but the film is late showing and I wanted to go early so left me with Cars!
