We've got 120 odd miles to cover tomorrow, should sort it out.

We just had a substantial earthquake out here. And that’s coming from a kiwi!! (New Zealand has that many earthquakes we did drills at school for them)

I jumped up into overalls cause all our major rotating equipment has vibration monitoring and something like that can trip us out (again) but process is stable, night shift guys are a bit wide eyed, so back to bed.. don’t think I’ll be getting back to sleep though, 4 am and I get up at 5am

This is definitely not a boring swing! Christmas, Plant Shutdown trip and now earthquake!
Other than NYs I’m hoping the rest of the swing is uneventful!

Place is steady again so hoping it’s an easier day cause I feel wrecked.....

Feck!

Saves stirring the coffee I guess.

Glad you're all ok though, that must be a little unnerving to say the least.

I've been on the tarmac at Dili airport and walked between the helicopter and the Airnorth commercial aircraft (and vice versa) approximately 80 to 100 times over 9 years... that is what I've seen of Timor. I would love to visit properly and do a cross country adventure motorbike trip and some scuba diving. I've made a number of good friendships with Timorese personnel we have onboard and they've all offered to host at one time of another.

It looks amazing as we fly over on the chopper.

Having done the necessary research, I think I'd like to visit East Timor too.

Mrs Cav couldn't get to sleep until 5.30 this morning so I've spent my morning with Little Cav.. he will not sleep for me unless I drive. Just wasted 45 minutes trying, sit him in the car, asleep. Frustrating thing is he'll only sleep for 30 minutes in the car but would sleep for 1.5-2 hours in the cot.

Ah well, only done 30 miles so far today. The car is abhorrently filthy now :D

Recovering from yesterdays 8 mile muddy walk around Boston Spa, just the outer sides of my calves are suffering so I'm happy with that and no blisters from my brand new walking boots.

I will be doing a lot more of that for exercise and getting my head cleared out.

A covid test, I was going on another walk but I only got 2 hours sleep with all the cold sweats and coughing.

Test is negative and I feel fine now, just tired like I didn't get much sleep :^

Today I'll be evicting two residents from the sober living house for being naughty, and then I think I have one young hopeful coming in this afternoon for an interview.

We had a massive tropical storm roll over us today, and I saw very close up lightning hit the ocean for the first time in my life, about 40-50m off the platform. The guy with me and myself absolutely crapped ourselves. It produced a cloud of steam. Fooking loud and bright that close up, I'm sure it aged me 10 yrs.
