If the CO2 interacts with the tyre material surely it is still in there ? I can see this leading to a slight drop in pressure as the C is stripped from the CO2 but nothing leaves the tyre does it ?

The Carbon and O2 are bonded so they don’t separate. It’s all happening at a molecular level but apparently the CO2 is more attracted to the rubber and therefore can permeate it easier. I’m no chemist so the actual how’s and whys I can’t really explain. I remember the Chem Eng at work telling me he didn’t have all day to explain it and if I wasn’t willing to go get a degree then I needed to accept it (lol)

Found this online which kind of says a similar thing. Might be a bit easier to understand than my explanation.

Today going to my 4th night shift in a row. Not happy about it but another shift is struggling. I had to go to the dentist today as well for an emergency appointment. I've had 3 hours sleep and can't sleep anymore!!

As for the dentist. They have prescribed antibiotics. But now say I may need a new xray as my 8 month old 360 xray is over 6 months. And I may need a new referral as I may need a second wisdom tooth out!! Dentist has been good though got the appointment for free and also apparently I'm not the worst one who is waiting. The last owners were terrible!

So I heard back from the dentist. Well not exactly I had to do a sh!t ton of calling but I managed to get through to the hospital. Talked to a couple of people who seem pretty pissed off with their jobs or just up themselves unsure which

So long story short. My Urgent referral has been sitting in an inbox since 19th July. Defo won't be looked at any time soon, soonest I will hear anything back is November/ December - that's not to take them out that's just to hear back from them. So almost a year. Other option.
£300 per tooth to remove privately.
3 teeth £900
Think I may take them up on that offer and I'd get it done ASAP.

NHS is sinking. Rapidly.

Get your teeth taken care of ASAP...it'll be worth it. Nowt worse than toothache....hurts when you eat, breathe, keeps you awake, etc......and a year is a frickin' ridiculous long time to put up with that crap. Otherwise you'll just be miserable all the time.

I go Private and get seen within a couple of weeks usually, sometimes next day.

I took out a care plan package with the fiancé to give us 20% off treatments and 2 free dental appointments and 1 free hygienist appointment per year. We pay something like £20/month for both of us. I was quoted about £680 for 4 fillings so have paid signifcantly less than that. I think each dental appt is £50 too.

Also, we have specialists in branch for things like braces, teeth whitening, dermal fillers, implants, dentures, blah, blah, blah...

Rossgo, haven't you got a dental plan with work?

The NHS dentists were wiped out years ago.

Kwacky yes we have it at work but I always opt out of it every year. I believe we only get the one chance to add ourselves into it per year and when I get the option I'm never in pain so opt out haha. Just the way I am, I live on the edge

My misses has private healthcare with work and has helped her a lot when she was off sick a few years back so in hindsight I'm either a it wont happen to me guy or I'm just thick as f%(k

Come to Scotland and register - I moved back to NHS dentist a few years back from a private one (which was my original dentist but they went private).

Checkups with hygienist are £16 and a filling cost me £30. Over the 4 years I’ve been there all I’ve had is 2 visits per year with one filling so about £150. If I’d stayed private I would have been out of pocket for about £900 + whatever the filling would have been - the private dentist did have better magazines to be fair - up to date copies of MCN, Bike and Ride etc.... I have to buy my own now
