He's not bad. It's all still a bit of a soap opera, he's changed jobs, divorce is still rumbling on and he's currently in a BnB. He's been working too hard in his new job so his pain is worse. He's off to Mexico in December for a month of treatment.
He'll be back on the site when his life settles down.

Had MiL and FiL as well as my Bro to lunch, ate too much and drank too much, but had a great time! We ate roast pork with everything, apple pie and custard/cream etc and then a cheese course, including a lovely Epoisses that was trying to escape the cheeseboard throughout lunch.

I’ve put on a fair bit of weight since I’ve been off work and limited to what my body can handle physically. I weighed in for the first time in quite a while yesterday and I’m the heaviest I’ve ever been.
So logging calorie intake and managing portion sizes. Stopped drinking mid week as well.

As the weather appears to have turned, it was hearty soup night for us, we did a Leek & Potato and a Broccoli & Stilton, both with oodles of crusty bread and a glass of something nice. Have to say I was listening to the rainstorms and hail outside at times overnight and feeling very warm and content.
