Watched this over the weekend.

Bloody hell, what a tough film to watch. It's based on a true story about some British soldiers trapped in a dried up river which is littered with old Russian mines.

Set in Afghanistan’s Helmand Province, the film – which has been nominated for an Outstanding Debut BAFTA – is based on the true story of a group of soldiers, mostly from the British Army’s 3rd Battalion, The Parachute Regiment (3rd Para), who were trapped in a minefield while stationed at Afghanistan’s Kajaki Dam in 2006.

A three-man patrol encounter trouble when, while attempting to disable a Talian roadblock, one of the patrol unintentionally detonates a landmine, blowing off his leg and triggering a desperate rescue mission

I used to have an account with Netflix, I cut it from our monthly outgoings a while back though because we got signed up to Now TV due to a mess up with EE internet so they sent us a box with a few months free.
