Can't you do it the old way with a tube rather than the cost of a pump?

The hamd pumps are a few quid and always good to have the right tool for the job. Plus it beats getting a gob full of petrol.

Not used it myself but this one on Amazon is cheap and cheerful and made by Draper, so likely to be up to the job of just emptying a tank of fuel.

I just lift the tank and pull one of the pipes off, making sure you have a container handy obviously.

I didn't know you could get a pump!!! I've always used the sucking method... and getting a mouth full. But found recently if you use a colostomy bag then you can create the same suction by just pulling the sides of the bag apart with the tube end I the tank :D

... and no... I'm just not sure why I ended up in possession of colostomy bags.

I know fuel is getting expensive but going round siphoning people's tanks is naughty. Always used the sucking on a big tube method as I'm to tight to buy something else. Just dont drink it if you get a gob full spit it out..... If you want next time we meet I have something you can practice on.
