Everything is pointing to dvanced warning being given of the targets, targets which have been previously hit by a few countries including Israel.

So essentially we give Syria the heads up, they tell the Russians. The Russians agree that that the target sites hold no value. The sites are evactuated. We hit them. Russia doesn't respond. Everyone goes home happy. The Brits and the Americans and the French slap each other on the back and give it loads in the press.

Once again the public gets played.

So the targets are being hit without killing anyone & this is "the public getting played"??

You missed the rest of the post. The targets have been hit before and they were emptied.

What's the point of hitting the factories used for making chemical weapons when the factories are nothing more than empty shells ?

I'm sure they have their reasons & I'm sure they know what they're doing.....like you say, there's no other reason to do it.

If it was meaningless than why do it?

What was the value?

Point scoring to their own voters and doing it at the behest of those who hold the real power in our countries.

I suspect though that more and more ordinary people have had enough of their own Country dropping bombs on targets in far away places in their name. Countries that are already completely decimated by internal politics and civil wars.

It used lots of very expensive munitions , which you and I paid for , which means that they now need some more , which you and I will pay for , which means that those people with lots of shares in the companies that make the very very expensive munitions will get a bigger dividend and see the value of their shares rise , which means that they will have earned more money to avoid paying tax on .

Depends on your definition of meaningless.

Israel has just produced evidence of Iran's nuclear capability. It's going to attack Iranian forces in Syria if Iran attacks from Syria. In order to show that Israel isn't the aggressor, it's already carried out some attacks. Israel has asked the US to back its plans, which Trump will do.

I can see the Israelis have been making accusations about the Iranian nuclear program , I can't seem to find any details of evidence as yet .

What a **** stupid world we live in. Why do we allow these 'leaders' to get away with all this killing in the name of 'their' people. The only people they are really protecting are themselves and their power.

Not me.

It should be compulsory for all world leaders to smoke a massive spliff each morning when they arrive at work. That would put an end to all this shite.

Because the western population have become too comfortable, fat and life is too easy. The ideal formula for apathy.

Freedom isn't free .
Western civilisation seems to have forgotten that the price of freedom is endless vigilance , for too long we have failed to call our leaders to account for the atrocities they commit in our names , too long we have stood in silence while we were stripped of our wealth and guiding principles

At the time of tweeting Syria and Israel are exchanging fire at the Golan Heights.
