So what's everyone up to?

Busy one for me.

Tonight out with a mate to the Digbeth Dining Club. It's an outdoor event with loads of street vendors selling all sorts of food
http://www.digbethdiningclub.co.uk/events.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Then tomorrow we've got a couple of local events. First we're going to CoCoMad which is a small local festival http://cotteridgepark.org.uk/?page_id=297" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

then we're off to Northfield Festival as my daughter is dancing.

Sunday the family are going to Kettering for a Taekwondo event. Both of my kids are fighting. This is my daughter's first fight so I said I would go along and watch her.

In between all of that lot I need to get the SX ready for Monday's service and try and get to the gym.

today...finishing off mowing the paddock, tonight a nice bottle of Sincerre accompanied by seabass with samphire and new pots

Tomorrow.. try to finish off the exterior painting if the weather holds

Sunday... whittling down my house list to decide which ones I can view in 2 weeks time, well thats if I exchange before then . Bloody buyers solicitor is a class A dork and what should have been an easy purchase (cash sale , no chain means more money than sense !!) has now been turned into "I wonder how long I can hang it out and make me look really important sale " I've had dealings with this lot before and god knows how they are still in business.

I never go out socialising as I'm too far from anywhere without having to take the car :-(

Note to oneself when deciding on my next move that apart from distance and all the important stuff, it must have a pub that is close enough to go by pushbike and doesn't need me to check the fuel gauge before going to the local shops ...oh and must have broadband speed that lets me view web pages quicker than dial up and that it works more than 3 days week !

Tonight, dropped my boy at the school disco then promptly went to the pub next door..

The rest of the weekend will be chill out time before hitting the job market hard on Monday.

My contract finally ended today, so time to find a new one.

Off to the mother-in-law's tomorrow, got a niece's birthday party to go to, a village fete to attend and then Monday and Tuesday I've got time off work and the kids have got time off school so we're off to Drayton Manor. Being so close to an RAF base the schools are quite cool about taking time off if one of the parents has been away.

My 9 year-old daughter is now 4' 10" so she's tall enough to go on almost all the rides, which she is well excited about!

Will be riding a K1600 GT up to Northamptonshire in the morning then riding one back, a first real long ride on the 6 cylinder tourer, I will take a few pics would be rude not too.

Supposed to be like riding on air, very smooth engine, we shall see.

Let us know what you think Frankie. I know it sounds a bit limp but always fancied a go on one of them.

Being totally and utterly lazy! No bike, partner is working so all that is left to do is the house work which I haven't even started yet! Taken the dog out and jumped back into bed! This morning have been catching up with 675cc and here [SMILING FACE WITH SMILING EYES]

I will mate, spent two hours on route in the morning on the K 1600 GT what a motor, the sound track on a 6 cylinder bike is amazing.... Wow..... I will do a proper write up in due course. Hopefully with a little vid, I tried the cam mounted on the helmet this time should be interesting.

The down part was I spent nearly four hours a K 1600 GTL on the way back.... Not so much the bike, but the traffic, due to various events ( Silverstone ) and accidents made the roads a nightmare, detouring on a big lump like the K 1600 brought all my skills of filtering to a whole new level LMAO (y) (devil)

A bit of a damp squib of a weekend this time, yesterday was spent sleeping, sweating and getting our youngest joined up to the local sailing club for the year, we also joined so we can enjoy a beer or a meal down there. Have to say that people watching yesterday afternoon was fairly "scenic" if you get what I mean, surprising how a warm day and bronzed sporty guys can attract such a lot of attention from our local lovelies determined to be noticed. If only I was 30yrs younger!

Today as mentioned in the "today" thread sees me enduring Heathrow, Aberdeen and Sumburgh Airports, heading for the Tundra of Shetland for the week doing training for a new customer, finger crossed the food is reasonable.
