Tankslap Meeting Places
We've got Lucy's in Stow for the South Midlands ride outs.
When I meet Dale for the it's at the Station Cafe, Craven Arms - http://www.yell.com/biz/station-cafe-cr ... ms-177833/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
So where else do people suggest for hook ups?
It might be worth doing a list then I'll add them to this first post and make it a sticky

Re: Tankslap Meeting Places
Met a lot of slappers (one's from here not the other type) at this Cafe on the A49 near Whitchurch.
Always been popular with bikers and a good meeting point for breakfast before heading into Wales for the day.

Re: Tankslap Meeting Places
You have places like H Cafe and Loomies Oxford area and Alton area. There's a nice Tea shop in Marlborough. Think it's called A Lisenced Coffee Shop?!

Re: Tankslap Meeting Places
I'm looking for somewhere easy enough to find but not the usual biker places. Lucy's is ideal as there's somewhere to park but it's not a typical biker meeting place like Ace or Quatt.

Re: Tankslap Meeting Places
You mentioned it a couple of weeks ago. I'll try and find the post. I think it was on the same day you went to the airfield for breakfast. Not that I'm suggesting you only go on your bike to get food..........

Re: Tankslap Meeting Places
There is a tea and coffee shop in Cleobury North on the B4364 about half way down. I've meant to stop there a number of times but never quite got round to it. Its set back off the road and looks to have plenty of parking. I have seen bikes stopped there before.

Re: Tankslap Meeting Places
I liked the cafe that we went to on the south side of Wantage, just towards the top of the hill on the road that heads to . No idea what it was called but it was a Frankie ride out..
Sure there is many others I liked, just can't remember them now or just can't remember where they are (faceplam)

That was Marlborough, ah yes add that to my list as well ha ha....Plus I have found a very nice road, close to this one as well. which combining with a few other cracking roads will take you to the place above.... and creates my own mini IOM run lol
